On Mother’s Day, McDonald’s Philippines encouraged children and families to express their overwhelming love and overwhelming pride for their mothers and all the mother figures in their lives.

By sharing the reasons why they are proud of their mother and a photo of her, they had the opportunity to give their mother the biggest and most epic Mother’s Day greeting – a feature in the slots of McDonald’s digital billboards on select highways nationwide.

Collecting more than 6,000 entries on its official Facebook page, McDonald’s featured a total of 108 moms – 60 on social media and 48 on 10 billboards located along Katipunan, Commonwealth, Edsa Forum, Edsa Magallanes, Edsa Kamuning , Lawton, Colon Cebu, Escario Cebu and Laurel Davao from May 8 to 10.

Behind these beautiful photos and charming smiles are stories of strength and unconditional love that these mothers and mom figures have shown their loved ones.

Aimee Graces’ mother has proven that no disease, not even cancer, is strong enough to stop her from being a mother. Her children serve as her motivation to get through it as she maintains a positive attitude.

Riche Doronila-Banal and Myra Agol also inspired.

Mother’s Day is not the only day that children can celebrate their mother, but it is during this day that we collectively hear and share stories that allow us to celebrate and appreciate our mothers more because the weight that their roles carry.

McDonald’s wishes to express its deepest gratitude to all mothers and mother figures. Thanks for being you.
