Teacher’s Day 2021: 4 ideas for making colorful DIY greeting cards

Teachers’ Day is fast approaching. It’s a day to honor and appreciate the teachers in our lives and to thank the people who have taught us valuable lessons and helped us become who we are today. Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5 every year. On this day, students spoil their teachers with flowers, gifts and greeting cards.

So we have simple but creative ideas for you to make your own greeting cards at home and thank your teachers in a special way! Take a look at some DIY card ideas below.

To create a 3D greeting card for your teacher, all you have to do is choose a design you want to draw on your card. For example, you can choose a flower and draw it in the middle of your card. Simply fold the sheet of paper in half and draw half of the flower in the center of the folded sheet. Cut the design and voila! Unfold the card and you will have a 3D flower right in the middle.

You can also draw a cute sketch of you and your teacher on one side of the card with your message. Simply write the message for your teacher on the left side of the card and draw a sketch of you giving your teacher a flower on the right side.

Make a card in the shape of a bouquet

Instead of making a traditional card with a sheet of paper, you can make a card in the shape of a bouquet. Just cut a triangle out of a sheet of paper and fold it into a bouquet shape. Similarly, cut out small flowers from different sheets of colored paper and glue them to the top of the bouquet. Write your message on the triangle-shaped bouquet and your card is ready!
